Report on Extempore Speech Competition – Don Bosco Tech Hospet

An Extempore Speech Competition was conducted for the IT CCE batch at Don Bosco Tech Hospet as part of the effective communication skills training. Organized by the training team, students were given topics on the spot and spoke for 2-3 minutes after brief preparation, with evaluation based on clarity, confidence, and communication. The batch participated actively and used the activity to overcome stage fear and practice spontaneous speaking. The Center Head was present throughout, observed the performances, and encouraged students to continue building public speaking skills for interviews and workplace success. The session successfully supported the goal of strengthening communication skills and will be continued regularly as part of the center’s training program.
