Celebration of light, Diwali

He whose face gives no light, shall never become a star, Happy Diwali. To commemorate the victory of virtue over vice Don Bosco Tech, Nalagarh celebrated Diwali on October 26, 2019 with the trainees. Total of 18 students were present in the celebration. Staff of Don Bosco Tech and students decorated the campus with glittering lights.
Mr. Lal Chand Thakur (Trainer, Data Entry Operator) gave a short speech on Diwali. He explained the students about the significance of the festival by saying, “Diwali is the festival of lights. It is celebrated in honour of returning of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile.”
Then Mr. Mahavir Singh (Sales Associate Trainer) told students about Bandi Chhor Divas. He told that on this day Guru Hargobind Singh was released from the prison of Mughal Emperor Jahangir along with 52 kings from Gwalior Fort. For Sikhs, this day is very important and celebrated lengths and breaths of India in all Gurudwaras.
All the students participated in activities like Rangoli Making and Diya Decoration. Our students Kalpana, Harvinder, Nimma, Uma made Rangoli and Ms. Sonia (Communicative English Trainer) helped them.
The celebration was concluded by distributing sweets. There was a sense of serenity in the heart and mind of the trainees as they left the campus for their home. This celebration was organized with a view to exhibit unity in diversity among all casts, creeds and religion.
