Tour to Agnihotri Electrical & Mechanical Work

Don Bosco Tech Society (Nalagarh) organized an exposure visit on March 4, 2020, for the trainees of Asst. Electrician domain to give them real work experience in electrical industries at Agnihotri Electrical & Mechanical Work (Nalagarh). The trainees were accompanied by Mr. Chatter Singh, (Trainer, Asst. Electrician) and Mr. Sunil Kumar (Center Coordinator).
Mr. Gautam Agnihotri (MD) welcomed the trainees with an open arm and accompanied them to the different sections of the shop. At first, he introduced to the trainees the equipments and accessories; single phase submersible motors, starters, starter kits, direct on starter kits, Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB), Normal Open Normal Close switches (NONC), 2 core, 3 core gate lights, lamps and tubes, siren hooters, bells, and 4 core cables, etc. He introduced the employees to the trainees with their job descriptions. After that Mr. Agnihotri took them to visit Khera site, which is also in Nalagarh where electrical work is in progress. Mr. Rahul Sharma (Electrician) and Maninder Sharma (Electrician), part of Agnihotri Electrical interacted with the trainees and briefed about ‘distribute wiring work’. In short, it demonstrated the trainees about ‘the wiring’. Mr. Rahul was happy to share his long association with this esteemed organization. He, without hesitation, disclosed his monthly earnings and other benefits. Later, Mr. Maninder Sharma, another electrician, introduced different circuits in each room as; single-phase and triple-phase (wiring, lamp, tub, and fan connections). Trainees gathered a lot of information through this interaction from the electricians, working, day in and day out, on sites.
At the end of the session, the trainees expressed their deep gratitude to Mr. Agnihotri and his entire team for sharing their valuable time and knowledge. The exposure tour winded up with the group photo as they headed back to the training center.
