He introduced Mr. Anchal Rana (Head Cashier) to the trainees and asked him to assist them to learn about the Retail Management and key roles of Sales Associates in a store. Thereafter, he took the trainees to another vital section in the store where they got to observe clothes stacked, frozen items stored maintaining a specific temperature, food items as per its durability, stationaries according to its sizes, grocery items, and the like.

Their duties ranges “from welcoming the customers, access the product, demonstrate the product, encourage to buy, billing the items to leave the store,” said Mr. Anchal. He added, “the most important quality, a sales associate must bear, is to have the patience to deal with the customers. He then demonstrated the trainees about how section responsible persons should wear gloves, a cap and shoes neatly. “Discipline, punctuality and hard work” he mentioned are the key to climb the ladder of success as a Sales Associate besides thorough knowledge in the domain.

At the end of the trip, with a heavy heart, thanked and parted Mr. Anchal and Mr. Mohit Sharma for their valuable time, briefing about the retail industry. The visit winded up with a something to remember, a group photo.
