A guest lecture for Sales Associate Domain was organized on October 16, 2019 at Don Bosco Tech (Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh). Mr. Ankur Prashar from Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN), Nalagarh was invited as a resource person for the guest lecturer. He is working as Sales Associates at HPKVN (Nalagarh, Solan). He started his job as a Sales Associates Trainer and has great experience in this field. He visited our center and shared his experience with the trainees of the Sales Associate Domain. Mr. Ankur first introduced himself to the trainees and started his conversation with the trainees.

He started with the basics of Retails & Sales sector and discussed all the important points related to the same sector, after that he discussed what the growth rate in Sales Associate sector is, he also discussed the role between consumer and Sales Associate. He discussed how to deal with the customer. He also shared the information related to various things that should be taken care of at the workplace like integrity, discipline, punctuality, honesty, dedication toward work and way of talking. 

As this industry is mainly based on customer service, he also talked about the importance of communication skills in this sector and in our lives as well. Then he discussed various types of Sales Associates and different types of processes as well. He also mentioned that we all should develop some kind of skill in ourselves so that we can earn our livelihood, become self-dependent and along with this we can support our family financially. The information provided by him was really useful and valuable. The team and the trainees thanked the guest for sharing the knowledge and visiting the centre.
