The Talents Exhibition program was held on 3 February 2020 at Don Bosco Skill Mission. The event was designed to allow all trainees to exhibit their special interest in the areas like Dancing, Singing, Acting, Magic tricks, etc. The center conducted this event to create a platform for overcoming stage fright and to make them aware of the talents hidden among each of the trainees.

The event was witnessed and judged by Fr. Joseph Elavanal, Mrs. Niveditha (Regional coordinator), and Ms. Ann Louisa Paul J (Trainer-Electrical). The program was hosted by Br. Thomas and coordinated by other staff members. The trainees were given a range of choices which facilitated them in pinpointing what they were passionate about. Initially, only some participants were ready to express their uniqueness but as the number of performances increased on the stage the trainees who were reluctant to face the spectators also willingly came and revealed their talents.

The trainees performed the show individually as well as team-wise. Some of the talents that the trainees showcased were Singing, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Group Singing, Magic Show, Photography, mimicry, etc. The trainees were judged according to their uniqueness and presentation. The Talent’s day was a special event, what made it special was not only the excitement it brought among the trainees but also the great experience they can cherish for their lifetime.

For most of the trainees, this was the first time in their life to confront the audience and stage. This event provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and skills. The event also made trainees feel appreciated and acknowledged, which in turn enticed them to keep up the good work in their curriculum as well. Hence Talent’s Day paved a way to boost the self-esteem, confidence, and assurance among the trainees.
