A Job Fair was organized by Krishna Byre Gowda (MLA, Congress), and its volunteers, on May 28, 2022, at Dev-in School Kodigehalli Road, Sahakarnagar, Bengaluru. The program was a massive one with 140+ recruiters and 4,000 participants. Through this job fair, the trainees learned something new and gained confidence.
The budding aspirants underwent rounds of interviews with different companies. For this, there were different set-ups allocated for the HRs and Company representatives. First, the candidates met the HRs individually where they came to know more of the company’s requirements. With an open arm, the HRs guided and explained to them in detail about the job profile. After counseling, they assured candidates of their call those shortlisted ones for the second round of interviews which will be held on the respective company’s premises.
The campus was restless, filled with all the young enthusiasts. Through this drive, the trainees got to know more about companies’ profile and their job roles as each one met the HR. It was then when they got the chance to enquire about their salary package and other facilities. After attending the placement drive, they got motivated to go for jobs.
Invitees from the Don Bosco Skill Mission Mr. Veeresh Ashok Modi (State Coordinator) & Mr. Pritto Thomas (State M & E, MIS) interviewed around 100 candidates. Of which 15 have been shortlisted for the second round. Besides this 50 candidates are mobilized for the training in Cloud Computing, IoT Security Specialist, AI-Cloud Application Developer, Electrical Vehicle (EV) Charging Station - Technician, and Data Center Operation Management job roles.
