On 20 March 2026, Don Bosco Skill Mission, Bangalore, hosted a heartfelt and inspiring farewell programme for the trainees of the Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EV8) Batch and Guest Service Associate (GSA5) Batch. Held between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM, the event marked a significant milestone, celebrating the successful completion of training and the beginning of new professional journeys for the trainees.

The occasion was graced by distinguished dignitaries whose presence added great value and inspiration to the event. The Chief Guest, P Narasimha Karanth, Honorary Secretary of the Indo-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, addressed the gathering with insightful reflections on industry expectations and global opportunities. The Guest of Honour, Sakti Prasad Bagchi, shared valuable perspectives on professional growth and the importance of continuous upskilling in a rapidly evolving job market.

A special highlight of the programme was the presence of Anthuvan, a respected leader serving as a World Councillor/Delegate for the Salesian Cooperators of the South Asia Region. Drawing from his rich experience, including 18 years of service at Indian Space Research Organisation under the guidance of A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, he inspired trainees with powerful insights on dedication, humility, and lifelong learning.
