Guest lecture -2 of Sales Associate, Phase -10, B4

To enhance the trainees’ skills in their domain, the guest lecture was organized for the Sales Associate trainees of Don Bosco Tech (Karunapuram) on February 19, 2020. Mr. Maloth Srinivas (Department Manager, Reliance Store, Hanamkonda, Balasamudram) was invited to brief the trainees. Ms. Mamatha (Retail Trainer, Karunapuram) welcomed Mr. Srivas.
Mr. Srinivas kick-started his interactive session by naming the departments in Retail Management first. He did speak about how retail factories are emerging and thus found its acceptance in the Society. He said, “Day by day the population is booming in the World. So, the people need to more household items. People use things daily basis is called as ‘fast-moving Goods’. FMG’s products’ sales rating rapid because of human being dependent upon this brand.”
Mr. Srinivas underlined ‘knowing the brand value of product’ as the core responsibility of a Sales Associate. Only then “You will be able to explain and convince the customer to buy the product.” He added, “Sales Associate should exhibit tremendous patience to stand in a store or mart.” He also highlighted the benefit of gaining experience in ‘retail’ saying ‘it will help to climb the ladder of success.’
Lecture continued while Mr. Srinivas briefed the trainees about the ‘Networking Process’ of the Retail Sector in the market. ‘Product life’ he said, “Will depend upon the period according to the organization and as well as on the board of ‘Product Cycle’, product decline stage.” ‘Customer Satisfaction’ is also vital in this sector. “It helps them to get to face the promotion levels in the organization sector,” said Mr. Srinivas.
During the briefing ‘handling billing counter’ was also touched, as it deems another core department of the Retail Sector and showed them how to scan the barcodes of every product. He then showed how to use the Credit and debit cards in the billing sections in every mart or mall. “The online processing is the most using criteria by Customers,” said Mr. Srinivas to complete his note on billing. He added “Online process is the major mode of payment of this generation of Retail Management. Generations are gearing towards the above types of transactions,” said Mr. Srinivas.
In his concluding speech, he said, ‘he was extremely happy and fortunate to brief the trainees.’
