Guest lecture of Sales domain, Phase 11, B3

To provide extra practical ideological skills to the Trainees, and to improve the extra knowledge about the workplace, the virtual guest lecture event has taken place in the centre of Don Bosco Tech Karunapuram, Telangana with the help of concern person Mr. Ravi Kumar Bogum, Store manager of Heritage Fresh, Nanakram Guda, Rangareddy, on the 10th of June, 2021.
He started the session by wishing the trainees the best for starting their careers in the retail industry. First, he questioned trainees about the definition of the retail sector. He continued with the key responsibilities of CSA in the store. He briefed about facing all the products by showing faced products in the store.
The second responsibility of the Customer service associate is the stocking of the products in the store. Stocking means checking the expiry date of all products. Stocking of frozen items in-store is usually for one week. So, a section in charge person should take care of the stocking process.
He briefed about the behavioural skills of a CSA in store. He said, “According to the customer needs, we should take proper concerns from customers and should give proper answers to satisfy the customers and enthusiastically make them to purchase the more products which means, they may not know special available offers and discounts properly arrives in store”.
He also explained about the billing counter, and how to use the Credit and debit cards at the billing counter.
He motivated the trainees as “The experience takes you to high levels in Retail Industry”. In the end, he shared his journey with the retail sector and he shared his experience and difficulties and critical concerns he faced with the customers in the retail sector.
Finally, the virtual guest lecture event was really helpful to the trainees, to get the great idea of their working place to believe in hope about placements by listening to the experience words from an experienced person. He promised to provide placements for the trainees in their particular industry. Trainees felt very happy and content about the guest lecture by listening and watching a complete area of the store. In the end, the Guest lecture event winded up with a vote of thanks by retail trainer Miss. Suvarna.
