On 7 Oct, 2023 a field visit was organized at Don Bosco Tech Society Gurdaspur for the E-commerce Executive domain to Capital Small Finance Bank, Gurdaspur. In this visit Trainer Harmanpreet Singh Bedi and bank assistant manager Jagpreet Singh were also there. The visit aimed to provide trainees with real-world insights into the functioning of a financial institution and its e-commerce operations. Trainees received an insightful introduction to Capital Bank of India, including its history, mission, and core values. The bank's commitment to digital transformation and e-commerce integration was emphasized. The trainees had the opportunity to explore Capital Bank's state-of-the-art e-commerce infrastructure. They observed the backend systems that facilitate online transactions, secure customer data, and ensure seamless user experiences. Capital Bank demonstrated its digital payment solutions, including mobile banking apps, online payment gateways, and electronic funds transfer mechanisms. Trainees learned how these technologies enable customers to conduct transactions conveniently and securely.

The bank's cyber security measures were showcased, emphasizing the importance of data protection in the e-commerce sector. Trainees gained insights into how Capital Bank safeguards customer information and prevents fraud.
