As we all know that the following traffic laws are key to save lives, Don Bosco Tech Society, Gurdaspur had organized a session on ‘traffic rules’ for its trainees on February 13, 2020. The session was taken by Mr. Tilak Raj (Sub-Inspector of Police, Gurdaspur). Although it is not new still he briefed them the dos and don’ts of the traffic rules.

He started the session by warning ‘follow the traffic rules and save both lives; yours as well as of the pedestrians.’ He added, ‘if you fail to do so, land up paying heavy fine or imprisonment or both.’

Mr. Raj tried to make the trainees understand that by being well informed about the traffic rules and by following it we can bring down road fatality drastically. He also showed some traffic signals in the form of a chart. Hereafter, he explained the trainees about the dos and don’ts of the traffic rules through a PowerPoint presentation in a detailed manner.

The trainees paid their undivided attention to the resource person, although it was filled with lots of facts and figures. Finally, they thanked Mr. Raj for briefing them all about the traffic rules as an epitome of ‘save lives’ initiatives.
