At Gurdaspur, Don Bosco Tech trainees visited the CASTLE BAKERY

Ongoing Food and Beverages trainees of Don Bosco Tech Society (Gurdaspur) took a day off from the normal classes to visit the Castle Bakery on January 15, 2020. Mr. Harmanpreet Singh (Trainer, F&B Steward Service) accompanied them. These trainees were enamored to have learned the excellent customer service provided to the guests who come.
On reaching the bakery trainees met Mr. Vipin Saini (Owner) who welcomed them with an open arm and gave a brief description of the hotel industry. Mr. Saini assisted the trainees to tour to various departments of the bakery where they got the first-hand experience to see the facilities provided. As he was addressing he told them about the ways to handle the customers among them is helping them stand in the ‘queue’.
Mr. Saini, talking about the ‘budget’ said, “All F&B service and day-to-day business are done within the budget without compromising organizational guidelines and ensuring to meet the highest standards.” Added, “The organization preserves excellent internal and external customer service, design exceptional menus, purchase goods, and constant feedback and improvements. We identify customers’ needs and wants and respond proactively to all of them,” said as he concluded briefing the trainees.
It was indeed a fruitful visit for the trainees particularly for those hailing from a far off villages to see and learn. As they left the spot thanked the management for sparing its time to show and brief them.
