Seminar on ‘Traffic Rules’

Don Bosco Tech (Gurdaspur, Punjab) held a Traffic Rules seminar on February 13, 2020, to disseminate information from Traffic Education Cell and SANJH Kendra. This was suggested by S.M.P. (Gurdaspur) and made it dream come true with the help of Ramandeep (Centre Head, Don Bosco Tech, Gurdaspur).
During the event, while creating awareness on traffic Guljaar Singh (cell in-charge inspector ), Tilak Raj (Sub-inspector), Sanjeev Kumar (Sub-inspector), Amandeep Sindh (Assistant Sub-Inspector) and from SANJH Kendra Gurdaspur City Jasvindar Singh (Assistant Sub-Inspector) and Shubhlata (Constable) were present. On the occasion, Guljaar Singh, and Tilak Raj told the students that the principal reason behind the day to day accidents on the road in violation of traffic rules. Across Punjab, every single day approximately twelve people die in road accidents, that includes 86% of male and 14% female. They pointed out that the most affected ones are the YOUTH. Therefore, it is extremely important for every individual from our society to follow traffic rules while on the road.
Mr Jasvindar Singh and Ms Shubhlata (SANJH Kendra, Gurdaspur) informed about ‘Shakti’ a mobile App for the safety of ladies, appealed to download the same in one’s mobile and instructed in detail on ways to take help from the same. At the event, Mr Ramandeep and Savita Kumari (Trainer, Asst. Beauty Therapist) vouched for them of being a carrier of the message in the society at large.
