Parents Meeting at DB Tech Center

A highly engaging and impactful Parents-Teachers Meeting was held on June 27, 2025, at DB Tech Yadgir, bringing together staff from Don Bosco Tech and the Don Bosco Center for Social Action in a collaborative effort to strengthen the bridge between training and community support. The meeting began promptly at 12:30 PM and set the stage for an insightful discussion on the role of skill development in transforming young lives.
The session opened with an introduction to Don Bosco Tech Society’s mission and its commitment to delivering job-oriented training programs designed to empower youth with both technical expertise and essential soft skills, including Communicative English. Highlighting the success of the initiative, it was shared that out of 120 students trained, an impressive 93 have already secured employment. Special attention was given to the safety and work environment of companies, especially when placing female students, ensuring a secure and supportive transition into the workforce.
Ms. Dayana, Domain Trainer of the Digital Mitra program, passionately addressed the audience, underscoring the critical role that skill training plays in shaping the future of not just individuals but the nation as a whole. She emphasized that empowering youth through education and skills is foundational to national development and social progress.
Adding depth to the conversation, Mr. Sharanappa C Amarapur, Coordinator of Don Bosco Center for Social Action, Yadgir, spoke about the enduring legacy of Don Bosco and his lifelong dedication to nurturing and uplifting children and youth. His interaction with parents was heartening, as he invited them to express their willingness to support their children's placements. The enthusiastic response, with nearly all parents raising their hands, reflected the strong trust and confidence the community places in Don Bosco Tech’s programs.
The meeting concluded with a warm vote of thanks from Mr. Mallikarjun S Kurkundi, who expressed deep gratitude to the parents for their active participation and support, recognizing their vital role in the success of the trainees.
This event was more than just a meeting — it was a powerful affirmation of the collaborative spirit between educators, families, and the community, all united in the goal of empowering youth through meaningful skill development and ensuring a brighter future for all.
