The First parents meeting of Accenture phase 11 Retail management batch 3 & E-commerce batch 2 online batches was held on 17th May 2021, at 11.00 am. Mr. Juby Thomas ( State Coordinator), Mr. Digit Jose (State Finance Coordinator), Mrs. Anila Samson (State MIS Coordinator), the staff members, trainees, and their parents participated in the meeting. The session started at 11 am with a prayer song by Miss Jini Francis student of Retail. Mrs. Gracy Francis (English Trainer ) gave the welcome speech. Our center Head Rev. Fr Johnson Joseph presided over the meeting. He Inaugurated our new session and gave us a valuable and advisable speech about these courses and about the pandemic situation. Mr. Juby Thomas Mr. Digit Jose and Mrs. Anila Samson also gave us an advisable and inspiring speech about the course and the training. Our trainers Mrs. Geethu (Center Coordinator cum ITES Trainer), Mrs. Gracy (English Trainer ), and Mr. Das (E-commerce Trainer ) described the best features of online classes, online classroom interactions, personalized learning, use of technology applied in the online classrooms, computer, etc. Mrs. Geethu talked about her professional life and personal life. We explained to them about the three months course, job opportunities in this pandemic situation and also informed them it is very difficult to get job opportunities in local placement. So they have to go out of the district for their jobs. We got positive answers from their side. Then we asked meaningful questions to the parents and students and got meaningful answers from them. We talked about the dreams to work out against youth unemployment and thus the students obtain their own position to stand. Parents are given pleasant and good experiences in Don Bosco Tech. Trainers’ speeches encourage the students and parents to understand well, about their training, job, and placement. We consider each of the parents and students one by one. About 28 parents and 32 students were present. The rest of the parents contacted us in the evening. This meeting proved to be a great success. The parents and students were very happy. They showed their curiosity in online classes. The meeting has given inspiration to the parents and students. In the end, Mrs. Geethu gave the vote of thanks. Our meeting ended by 12.45 pm with National Anthem.
