Don Bosco Tech Punalur organized the International Women's Day by the trainers of DB Tech. This event was held on 8th March 2022 at 10 am. The staff members and 37 trainees participated in the session. The session started at 10:00am with a prayer song by our trainee Veena and our trainee Hareeshma. 

International Women's Day used to Celebrate annually on 8th of March. It is one of the most important days to celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness about women's equality and fundraise for female-focused charities. The theme for International Women's Day 2022 is “Break the Bias” Furthermore, International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.  

The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Rather, action is needed to level the playing field. Our trainee Aswani addressed everyone. Mrs.Mekha, Sales Associates said in her message that women are the life-giver and it is everyone's responsibility to give her a status and respect in society. Mr. Das David, Trainer of E Commerce showed a small video presentation related to our women trainees. 

 Mrs.Gracy Francis (English Trainer), shared that woman and girls' experiences so many challenges in society. Also, women faced hardships with bravery and resilience but they have disarmed their problems through a smile. They have concealed their worries in their heart. She wishes “Happy Women’s Day” The trainees.  

The program was in progress with some fun-filled games conducted by Mrs.Geethu Angel (Trainer, Sales Associate) facilitating showing their skills and came forward to entertain with some cultural programs such as storytelling, songs, speech, and presentations to make the day a memorable one. Every speaker hailed the socio, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women over the past three decades and said that this day is a reminder of their die-heart effort to see gender equality being materialized.  

 “A woman is so much more than just a human being. She has the power to create a life, to cope with so much pain and somehow always ends up being the strongest one in the room. Happy Women’s Day to all Goddesses out there” The trainee Nithin gave vote of thanks and the session ended by 11:30am with National Anthem.
