Smoking and chewing tobacco lead to short or long-term effects on health. It can cause short-term health conditions such as ulcers in cavities, tooth decay, sore mouths, and so on. It can lead to dizziness in a person. Short-term effects often lead to long-term side effects like cancer, lung diseases, heart diseases, a sudden stroke, etc. One of the main objectives was to make students understand the dangers of using tobacco. This was an initiative taken to make trainees understand the harmful and negative impacts, how second-hand smoke affects the smoker and his surroundings like their family and their community.
Tobacco is used in many different ways such as in the form of cigars, bidis, cigarettes, snuff, gutkha, etc. There are still reports of a large number of people dying due to the usage of tobacco and nicotine. If you want to win no to Tobacco and yes to live, Quit tobacco to be a winner”. The session ended at 12.00 pm, Mrs. Geethu gave the vote of thanks and wound up with National Anthem.
