On August 15, 2022, amidst the echoes of India's 76th Independence Day, Don Bosco Tech Punalur transformed into a beacon of patriotism and unity. With 23 eager students and devoted trainers, the center radiated with the spirit of freedom and remembrance.
The day commenced at 10 a.m. with the serene strains of the prayer song harmonizing with the flutter of the national flag, a symbol of resilience and sovereignty. Mrs. Gracy Francis, adorned with the mantle of an English Trainer, painted a poignant picture of the significance of Independence Day. She eloquently reminded the audience of the invaluable gift of freedom, cherished by nations who have tasted the bitter fruit of colonial oppression.
Mr. Das M S, the beacon of wisdom in E-Commerce, illuminated the theme of the 75th Independence Day: 'Nation First, always first.' His words resonated with the heartbeat of a nation that embarked on a 75-week journey of celebration with "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav." This grand odyssey, initiated by the Central Government, serves as a testament to India's unwavering commitment to honor its past and embrace its future.
Amidst the festivities, the air buzzed with patriotic fervor as students showcased their talents through stirring renditions of patriotic songs, captivating dances, poignant acts, and thought-provoking skits. The canvas of expression extended to essay writing and the stroke of brushes on paper, encapsulating the essence of freedom in every stroke and word.
As the day drew to a close, the strains of the National Anthem reverberated through the corridors, binding hearts in a collective melody of pride and gratitude. With heads held high, the staff and students stood united, honoring the sacrifices of the past and embracing the promise of the future.
“May the echoes of freedom resound in your hearts for eternity, for today, we stand on the shoulders of giants – our great freedom fighters,” echoed the sentiments, echoing through the halls, leaving an indelible mark on the souls of all who bore witness to this momentous occasion.
