On December 08, 2025, Don Bosco Tech Society, Sambalpur organised an informative guest lecture on “Hospitality Growth and Career Opportunities as a Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage).” The session helped trainees understand the fast-growing hospitality industry, especially the Food & Beverage sector.

The event began with a warm welcome from Mr. Isak Pradhan, Domain Trainer, who introduced the guest speaker Mr. Prasant Bhosagar, Manager at Hotel Grand Siba, Sambalpur. His experience and knowledge immediately captured the attention of the trainees.

Mr. Prasant’s presentation was very inspiring. He explained that the hospitality sector offers many career opportunities, good salary growth, and chances to work in culturally rich and even international workplaces. He also shared his personal journey—from a simple beginning to becoming a manager—which showed how hard work and commitment can change a person’s life.

His key message, “Your dedication decides your success,” strongly motivated everyone. He emphasised that passion and consistent effort can turn challenges into opportunities for growth.

The session was very interactive. Trainees asked questions, shared ideas, and took part actively in the discussion. This created a positive and energetic atmosphere, encouraging many to think about building their own careers in hospitality.

The event ended with a heartfelt thank-you from Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera, Support Domain Trainer, who appreciated Mr. Prasant’s valuable guidance and motivating talk.
