The activity was conducted to:

  • Capture real-life transformation stories of trainees through short video reels
  • Highlight the impact of skill training on confidence, employability, and dignity of labour

As part of the DB Tech @ 20 celebrations, the Sambalpur Centre conducted a reel-making activity where trainees shared their personal journeys and reflections on what DB Tech means to them.

Participants recorded short reels (30–60 seconds) highlighting:

  • Their background before joining DB Tech
  • Skills and confidence gained during training
  • Their readiness to build a career after skill development
  1. Ruchi Rana – Graphic Designer (DB Tech Sambalpur)
    Ruchi shared her journey of learning graphic design skills, software tools, and creative techniques at DB Tech. Through continuous practice and guidance, she gained confidence to create professional designs and is now ready to pursue a career in graphic design.
    Key message: DB Tech transformed her skills into confidence and confidence into a career.
  2. Maria Munda – IT Customer Care Executive
    Maria spoke about how DB Tech provided her with technical skills, confidence, and a clear career direction in the IT sector. She emphasized how the training gave her independence, hope, and pride in her work.
    Key message: DB Tech does not just train—it transforms lives.
  3. Smita Bhoi – Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage)
    Smita highlighted her journey from having dreams without proper skills to becoming a confident hospitality professional. She shared how DB Tech trained her in hospitality skills, discipline, and professionalism.
    Key message: DB Tech helped her serve with pride and dignity.

The reel creation activity was meaningful and impactful, allowing trainees to reflect on their personal growth and acknowledge the role of DB Tech in shaping their careers. These reels stand as powerful testimonials of DB Tech’s 20 years of commitment to youth empowerment and livelihood promotion.
