"REPORT OF SECOND EXPOSURE VISIT"
Don Bosco Tech- Chitradurga organized exposure visit for CRM Domestic Non-voice Domain on 12th of December, 2019. Mr. Javeed (Trainer, BPO) along with the trainees visited "Seva Skill Center" in Chitradurga.
Mr. Mallikarjun (Center Manager) explained about the BPO and its types .He explained about Inbound, Outbound and said that India has built strengths which have made it major success in outsourcing. He showed a demo how to interact, handle & convince the customer and suggested our trainees to give more concentration on communication & conversation practice . He told that once you get the job in BPO sector depending on your performance you will get good promotions like, Team Leader, Customer Service Supervisor, Shift Manager or become a manager within four to five years.
Trainees asked about MNC . He explained clearly that , there are two types in call centers like, International & Domestic, a call center making or taking calls from customer situated outside of the country as called as International call center (MNC) and a call centers making or taking calls from the customer within the country is called Domestic call centers.
Seva Skill Center takes up the project for Data Entry from State Govt. & Central Government like Voter Id, Census reports, Aadhar card, Online Applications etc. The employee and the workers divide the project into packets and set a target for data entry. The employees are paid on the basis of achieving the target though a minimum payment is already set. The accuracy in understanding the pre-script and putting it down into the electronic text format is very important. The expected accuracy is 98% and the expected typing speed will be 30wpm. All the data entry operations are done basically in Kannada and English language.
Trainees got an idea on what qualities and skills are necessary to get a job in Voice and Non Voice BPO'S (Data Entry Process). Trainees were happy with the visit and they gained a lot of knowledge about BPO process.
