" The Republic Day Celebrated at Don Bosco Tech-Chitradurga"

On 25th January 2020 trainees of Don Bosco Tech-Chitradurga along with the support of their trainers have celebrated “Republic Day” at Chithra Don Bosco’s auditorium. Rev. Fr. Sonychen Mathew (Director, Chithra Don Bosco) was the president of the programme. Rev. Fr. Joe (Principal of Don Bosco Degree College, Chitradurga), Br. Narasappa, Mr. Snnanigappa, Mr. Mahantesh, Mr. Manjunath (ECO Project crews of Chithra Don Bosco), Mrs. Anthony Theresa, (All programme coordinator of Chithra), Mrs. Veena (Coordinator Of ECO Project), trainers and mobilizer of Don Bosco Tech-Chitradurga were the guests who adorned the platform.
The programme started with the prayer song by Mrs Vinoda and the group followed by the welcome speech from Mr Gajendra (Trainee of Sales associate domain). The MC was joyfully and courageously done by Mr. Manjunath (Trainee of CRM Domestic Non-Voice)
Mr Javeed (BPO Trainer), Mr Mahantesh (ECO Project crew of Chithra Don Bosco), and Mr Bhiresh (Trainee of CRM Domestic Non-Voice domain) explained the reason why we are celebrating “Republic Day” and the history of the same. After that trainees sang some historical as well as melodious patriotic songs.
Fr. Sonychen Mathew (Director, Chithra Don Bosco) addressed the trainees and spoke about “Republic Day” and Dr B R Ambedkar. He briefed on the current issues against the Indian Constitution and the current amendments to the Constitution of India. He also motivated all the trainees and the staff to respect our national festivals, national anthem and national flag. He also updated the audience about the chief guest of the Republic day celebrations that would be held the next day at the Red fort at 09.00 am. Finally, he concluded his speech by saying the thought of "There is power in unity so let us all join hands for the unity and protection of India."
The responsibilities of the programme were divided among the trainees. The program was well planned and executed. The day ended with the attainment of bunches of knowledge about the Indian Constitution and having delicious Chocolates at 04.00 PM.
