Don Bosco Tech (Chitradurga) organized first Parents meeting along with batch inauguration on November 5, 2019. Rev. Fr. Sonychen Mathew (Director, Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga) was the Chief Guest of the programme. Rev. Fr. Saji George (Rector and Manager of Don Bosco Institutions, Chitradurga), Rev.Fr. Joe (Principal of Degree College, Chithra Don Bosco, and Chitradurga), Mr. Manjunatha Bhagawat (Senior Manager, Selco Solar Chitradurga), Mr. Basavaraj (Employment Officer, Chitradurga), Mr. K. K. Kamani (Financial Adviser, Science College, and Chitradurga), Mr. Henri Joseph (State Coordinator, Don Bosco Tech, Karnataka) were the honourable guests for the occasion . Mr. Manjunatha (Parent's Representative) and Ms. Kavitha (Student's Representative) were the other guests who adored the platform as dignitaries. The programme started with a prayer by Ms. Pooja and the group. A warm welcome was accorded by Master Jayasimha; compeering was done by Ms. Veda and Master Nikhil.

The programme inaugurated by lighting the lamp by all the dignitaries. Fr. Saji George addressed the gathering and exhorted them not to look at the external colour; rather the inner beauty must be seen in the mind that is inside saying that through a balloon story. He invited the students to take complete advantage of the given opportunity.

Mr. Manjunath Spoke about the solar electrical system and advised to use the solar electrical system. Mr. Basavaraj expressed a good opinion about Chithra Don Bosco and provided the information on employment. Mr. Henri Joseph took a session on Communication Skills, Attitude, Behaviour and Don Bosco Tech general concepts.

Mr. Manjunath shared the importance of education and encouraged others to send their children for work instead of keeping the educated children at home and expressed his good opinion about Don Bosco organizations. Ms. Kavitha (Student's Representative) shared the system and facilities of Chithra Don Bosco like Dormitory, Toilets facility, Self-cooking, Meditation, Spoken English, cleanliness behavior between girls and boys etc.

Fr. Sonychen Mathew wished all and told about the equality among students, promised to provide more facilities and advised the students to take good care of their parents and thanked all the parents for their presence and cooperation. Mr. K. K. Kamani said the facilities available in the center which other organizations are not having and asked them to utilities the opportunity. Mr. Rangappa (English Trainer, DB Tech, Chithra Don Bosco, and Chitradurga) gave information about the life history of Don Bosco, facilities of Chithra Don Bosco and the training given in the center. Ms. Sangeetha, Master Anil and Master Rajanikanth, Trainees of the current batch shared their experience and opinion about Don Bosco Tech and the availability of various facilities. The progemme ends up with a vote of thanks from Ms. Madhu.
