26 Feb 2020
Don Bosco Tech Society (Chitradurga) conducted a round of ‘Guest Lecture’ on February 26, 2020, for the current batch Customer Relation Management (CRM) Domestic Non-Voice domain trainees. Mr. Pandurangan (Manager, Prajwala Computers, Chitradurga), a well-known personality and a member of a well-known IT firm was the invitee to brief the young flock on Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Mr. Javeed (Trainer- BPO) welcomed the guest and introduced him to the trainees.
The session covered topics such as Voice and Non-Voice Process, its benefits, and its limitations. Mr. Pandurangan referred and related the BPO job profile with the works he does at his firm.
Thereafter, he discussed the growth in the BPO sector. “…with great power there must also come great responsibility!" It is an old saying. But it still holds its truth. Interestingly he shared some great responsibilities to be carried out at any workplace like integrity, discipline, punctuality, honesty, dedication, communication, and the like. As this industry is customer based, he underlined the importance of being a good communicator.
On completion of the above-mentioned points, the resource person began briefing on the technicality of BPO. He concluded the session by resolving the queries of the trainees. To boost their learning wished them the best of luck while requesting them to be focused on the training and their future. The trainees were happy and motivated to be part of the guest lecture. Finally, the session ended with a vote of thanks to Mr. Pandurangan by Ms. Triveni (Trainee, CRM Domestic Non-Voice).
