A Parent’s Meeting was conducted successfully at Don Bosco Tech Rangajan on 12 May 2026,with the objective of orienting the parents and guardians regarding the training programme, industry expectations, discipline, placement opportunities, and the overall development process of the trainees. The meeting witnessed active participation from 19 parents and guardians, who attentively listened to the information shared by Br. Sunny and the center team
After the conclusion of the meeting, the parents expressed that they were satisfied with the clarifications and information provided, and no major queries were raised. However, one guardian shared his concern regarding English communication being a challenge for his ward. He mentioned that the trainee’s elder sister has been working in the Hospitality sector in Gujarat for the last four years, and therefore he is aware of the demands and expectations of the industry.
In response, the centre team explained the importance of English communication skills, especially as trainees are likely to be placed outside the state where they will interact with people from different regions and backgrounds, including foreigners who may communicate only in English. Parents were assured that the centre would continuously support trainees in improving their communication and personality development skills during the training period.
During the meeting, Mr. Henry from Baghty, Nagaland, also addressed the gathering with an encouraging and motivational speech. He appreciated the trainees for taking a positive step towards building their future through skill development training. He highlighted how such opportunities create a bridge for young people to become self-reliant and gain meaningful employment. He further encouraged both the trainees and parents to remain committed to the training journey and wished all the trainees success in their course and future careers.
Overall, the Parent’s Meeting concluded on a positive and encouraging note with active support and cooperation from the parents and guardians.
