The induction programme for Digital Mitra Batch – 260181 was conducted from 15th June 2026
at Don Bosco Tech, Hassan. The purpose of the induction programme was to familiarize trainees
with the organization, course objectives, learning environment, and expectations throughout the
training period. The six-day programme was designed to help students adapt to the new learning
atmosphere while building confidence, teamwork, and communication skills. A total of 25
trainees actively participated in the induction activities.
DAY – 01
The induction programme commenced with a welcome session where trainers introduced
themselves and interacted with the trainees. Students were invited to introduce themselves, share
their educational backgrounds, and express their expectations from the course. This activity
helped establish a friendly and interactive learning environment.
The trainers provided an overview of Don Bosco Tech, its vision, mission, and commitment
towards empowering youth through skill development and employment opportunities.
The following topics were covered on the first day:
? Introduction to Don Bosco Tech Society.
? Vision, Mission, and Objectives of Don Bosco Tech.
? Rules and Regulations of the Training Centre.
? Introduction of Trainers and Staff Members.
? Importance of Discipline and Punctuality.
DAY – 02
On the second day, trainees were introduced to the structure and objectives of the Digital Mitra
programme. The trainers explained the various modules that would be covered during the course
and highlighted the employment opportunities available after successful completion of the
training.
Students were informed about registration procedures, documentation requirements, assessment
methods, and attendance policies. The importance of personal grooming, hygiene, and
maintaining a professional appearance was discussed. Trainers also emphasized positive
behaviour, respect for others, and maintaining a healthy learning environment. The trainees
actively participated in discussions and demonstrated enthusiasm towards the training
programme.
DAY – 03
The third day focused on providing detailed information about the Digital Mitra course and its
relevance in today's digital world. Students learned about digital services, data entry operations,
online platforms and the growing demand for digital skills in various sectors.
The trainers explained the responsibilities of a Digital Mitra and the role they can play in
assisting individuals with digital services. Basic computer concepts, internet usage, and the
importance of accuracy while handling information were discussed. A practical session was
conducted to assess the trainees' basic computer knowledge and typing abilities. Students showed
keen interest and actively engaged in the practical activities.
DAY – 04
A Team Building Activity was organized on the fourth day to strengthen communication,
creativity, and collaboration among the trainees. Students were divided into two teams. Members
of one team were asked to enact different objects, professions, actions, or situations using only
gestures and expressions, while the other team attempted to identify what was being portrayed.
The activity was highly engaging and encouraged active participation from all students. It helped
them develop:

? Confidence and Leadership Qualities.
The activity created excitement and healthy competition among the participants. Students
enthusiastically took part in the exercise and displayed excellent teamwork. The activity
encouraged trainees to think creatively, observe carefully, and communicate effectively with
their teammates. It also enhanced their imagination, analytical thinking, confidence, and
problem-solving abilities.
DAY – 05
The fifth day was dedicated to life skills and group interaction activities. Various participationbased exercises were conducted to improve communication, self-confidence, and interpersonal
skills. Students were encouraged to share their ideas, experiences, and opinions during group
discussions.
The activities helped trainees understand the importance of active listening, cooperation, mutual
respect, and adaptability. The session helped students become more comfortable expressing
themselves and contributed to the development of leadership and teamwork skills.
DAY – 06
The final day of the induction programme focused on Spoken English and Basic Computer
Awareness. Students were introduced to fundamental language concepts such as sentence
formation, parts of speech, articles, prepositions, vowels, and consonants. Interactive exercises
were conducted to improve communication and language skills.
The following topics were covered:
1. Introduction to Spoken English.
2. Basic Sentence Formation.
3. Parts of Speech.
4. Articles and Prepositions.
5. Vowels and Consonants.
The trainees also received an introduction to computer fundamentals and the importance of
digital literacy in today's workplace. Trainers encouraged students to actively participate in both
technical and life skills sessions during the course.
Conclusion
The six-day induction programme concluded successfully with active participation from all
trainees. The programme provided students with a clear understanding of the course objectives,
institutional values, and training expectations. It also helped build confidence, teamwork,
communication skills, and readiness for the learning journey ahead. The induction programme
laid a strong foundation for the trainees to successfully complete the Digital Mitra course and
prepare themselves for future employment opportunities
