Report on Field Visit For Customer Care Executive Domain
On October 4, 2024, Don Bosco Tech Society, Gurdaspur organized a field visit for the *Customer Care Executive – Domestic Non-Voice* trainees to Career Solution Groups in Taragrah. The purpose of the visit was to provide hands-on exposure to the customer service domain, helping trainees understand the fundamental principles and real-world applications of the role.
Upon arrival, the trainees were warmly welcomed by the Career Solution team, who provided an overview of the organization's customer service operations. They were then guided through the customer care section, where they observed live interactions between customers and experienced executives. This experience allowed them to witness how customer queries are handled, how effective communication is maintained, and how real-time problem-solving is conducted. During the visit, key skills such as active listening, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure were emphasized. Trainees also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of teamwork, time management, and maintaining a customer-centric approach to ensure client satisfaction. Additionally, the trainees took part in a Q\&A session with the staff, which offered valuable insights into the day-to-day responsibilities of a customer care executive, the tools and technologies used, and potential career paths in the industry.
Overall, the field visit proved to be an enriching learning experience, equipping the trainees with practical knowledge and boosting their confidence for future roles in customer service. The trainees expressed their gratitude to the DB Tech trainers for organizing the informative and engaging visit.
