On 19 November 2025, as part of the 20-year celebration of Don Bosco Tech, the Karunapuram center organized a meaningful community outreach program that reflected the institution’s deep commitment to social responsibility and holistic development. The initiative extended learning beyond the classroom, encouraging students to become active contributors to society.

As part of the program, students visited Maria Rani School, where they engaged with young children in an atmosphere of care, empathy, and learning. The outreach was thoughtfully designed to address an important and sensitive topic—Good Touch and Bad Touch. DB Tech students presented this concept in a simple, age-appropriate, and child-friendly manner, ensuring that the children could understand personal safety in a comfortable and supportive environment.

The session was not only informative but also interactive, allowing children to ask questions and express themselves freely. By approaching the topic with sensitivity and clarity, the students helped create awareness while building trust and confidence among the young participants.

To make the experience joyful and engaging, the outreach also included a series of fun activities, games, and interactive sessions. These moments of play and laughter created a vibrant atmosphere, strengthening the connection between the students and the children. The enthusiasm and active participation of the children added warmth and energy to the entire program.

The initiative was well received by the teachers and staff of Maria Rani School, who appreciated the thoughtful effort and meaningful contribution made by the students. The program left a positive and lasting impact, with children feeling safe, happy, and empowered by the experience.

More than just an outreach activity, the event stood as a reflection of the values upheld by Don Bosco Tech—compassion, awareness, and community engagement. It highlighted the importance of nurturing socially responsible individuals who are not only skilled professionals but also empathetic citizens.

The program concluded on a deeply fulfilling note, marking yet another milestone in the institution’s 20-year journey of excellence, where education meets purpose and learning creates meaningful change in society.
