09 Jan 2026
As part of the 20th Anniversary celebrations of Don Bosco Tech, a meaningful tree plantation activity was organized on 08 January 2026 at its Karunapuram center, symbolizing two decades of growth, impact, and commitment to society. The initiative was thoughtfully designed to align celebration with responsibility, marking the occasion with a gesture that contributes to a greener and more sustainable future.
To commemorate this milestone, 20 saplings were planted by the students, each representing a year of Don Bosco Tech’s journey of empowering youth through skill development and education. The act of planting these saplings went beyond symbolism; it served as a reminder of the institution’s deep-rooted values and its vision for long-term positive change.
The activity actively engaged students, who participated with enthusiasm and a strong sense of purpose. It created an opportunity for them to reflect on environmental responsibility and understand the importance of sustainable practices in everyday life. The event fostered awareness about conservation while encouraging students to become proactive contributors to their surroundings.
Faculty members played a crucial role in guiding and motivating the students, emphasizing not just the act of planting, but the responsibility that follows. Students were encouraged to nurture and care for the saplings, instilling a sense of ownership and long-term commitment toward environmental stewardship.
The program concluded on a positive and impactful note, reinforcing the idea that small actions can lead to significant change. It stood as a testament to Don Bosco Tech’s dedication to sustainability, community development, and the holistic growth of its students. The tree plantation activity not only celebrated a milestone but also planted the seeds of awareness, responsibility, and hope for a greener tomorrow.
