Don Bosco Tech Punalur hosted a vibrant certificate distribution programme on June 19th 2026, celebrating the successful completion of training for 40 trainees in E-Commerce Executive and Software Programmer courses. The event, held at the centre's auditorium, brought together trainees, trainers, and dignitaries to mark a significant milestone in skill development for the youth of the region. This programme underscores Don Bosco Tech's commitment to equipping underprivileged individuals with industry-relevant skills, fostering employability in the digital economy.

The ceremony commenced at 11:00 AM with a warm welcome address by Mr.Jaison Rajan, the Communicative English trainer. In his speech, Jaison Rajan highlighted the transformative journey of the trainees, emphasizing how the courses bridged theoretical knowledge with practical applications. He praised the dedication of the participants and the guidance provided by the trainers, setting an inspiring tone for the event. "These certificates are not just paper; they represent hard work, resilience, and new opportunities," he remarked, drawing applause from the audience.

The highlight of the programme was the inaugural address and certificate distribution by Fr. Vineeth Benedict, Director of Punalur Social Services Society. Fr. Benedict delivered a motivational speech, urging the trainees to leverage their newly acquired skills for personal growth and community service. He stressed the importance of ethical practices in e-commerce and software programming, especially in Kerala's evolving tech landscape. One by one, each of the 40 trainees walked up to receive their certificates directly from Fr. Benedict, accompanied by a handshake and words of encouragement. The certificates recognized proficiency in areas like online store management, digital marketing for E-Commerce Executives, and coding, debugging, and software development for Software Programmer trainees. Trainers actively participated, joining the stage to felicitate their students and share brief anecdotes of progress.The event saw enthusiastic participation from all trainers, who had meticulously guided the batches over several months. Their involvement not only ensured high completion rates but also instilled confidence in the trainees. Families and local community members attended, adding to the celebratory atmosphere with cultural performances and a group photo session.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Mrs.Geethu Angel Bosco, the trainer Software Programmer. Geethu expressed gratitude to Fr. Vineeth Benedict for gracing the occasion, the trainers for their unwavering support, and the trainees for their commitment. He also thanked the Don Bosco Tech team and Punalur Social Services Society for making such initiatives possible.
