On November 30, 2020, amidst the challenging backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, Don Bosco Tech, Kuntighat, proudly inaugurated its ITC Batch-6 for the academic year 2020-2021. Despite being unable to open its doors physically, the institution pivoted gracefully to host a memorable online inauguration ceremony, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.

The virtual event commenced at 12:00 p.m., with 29 eager students from both within and outside Hooghly district joining in. Spearheading the proceedings was Miss Riya, a dedicated student from Batch 6, who volunteered to orchestrate the entire program.

The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt prayer, beseeching for divine blessings and the swift resolution of global challenges. Deep, an enthusiastic student, then enlightened the audience with a poignant speech on the visionary ideals of Don Bosco, setting an inspirational tone for the event.

Ranjit, a talented member of Batch 6, enraptured the virtual audience with a soulful rendition, followed by Kabita and Barnali, who adorned the occasion with the timeless verses of Rabindranath Tagore. The cultural extravaganza continued as Neha mesmerized everyone with a captivating dance performance, earning admiration from peers, mentors, and alumni alike.

In a harmonious display of unity, the students came together for a stirring group rendition of "Hum Honge Kamyab," resonating with the spirit of perseverance and success.
