Don Bosco Tech's Convocation Ceremony for the inaugural batch of 2021-2022, held virtually on June 26th, 2021, was not just a ceremony but a testament to resilience and adaptability in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges posed by the outbreak, Don Bosco Tech orchestrated a memorable event, bringing together 31 students from various corners of Hooghly district and beyond, all within the digital realm of Google Meet.
The ceremony was gracefully helmed by Surodip and Rimon, two bright sparks from the batch. Opening with a soulful prayer dance invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha by Surodip, followed by Neha and Dona's heartfelt prayers, the atmosphere was charged with reverence. A hymn of gratitude to Don Bosco set the tone for the occasion, infusing it with a sense of purpose and gratitude.
The journey through the cultural tapestry of Bengal began with Tiyasha's enchanting rendition, transporting us to the vibrant streets of Medinapur. Prity's energetic dance to the rhythm of "Pindare Palash Bon" stirred hearts, celebrating the essence of Bengali folk culture. Subhasis then led us on a captivating voyage through history with his monologue drama, enriching our understanding of our heritage.
The event continued to dazzle with performances by Sumana, Manisha, Sridev, Pritam, each adding their unique flair to the proceedings. Their songs, dances, and recitations painted a vivid picture of talent and dedication nurtured within the Don Bosco Tech community.
As the curtains drew to a close, the trainers took the stage for a poignant vote of thanks. They reminded the graduating students of the challenges awaiting them in the professional arena and urged them to strive for excellence. Emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and perseverance, they illuminated the path ahead, inspiring the young graduates to embark on their careers with confidence and determination.
