Don Bosco Tech Kuntighat commemorated the inauguration of its ITC Batch 2 for the academic year 2021-22 on June 21, 2021. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we adapted swiftly, organizing an online ceremony that brought together 31 eager students from various locales, both within and beyond Hooghly district, all set to embark on their journey in the F&B service domain.

With the dawn of the auspicious date, resonating not only as the World Yoga Day but also as a day following Father's Day, our students infused the proceedings with an enriching blend of cultural significance. Commencing at 10:30 am, the virtual event was expertly orchestrated by two of our own, Sreya and Ravi, who guided us through a series of poignant moments.

The ambiance was set with a soulful prayer, invoking blessings for global well-being and progress. Reflecting on the legacy of Don Bosco, a cornerstone of our institution, Manish delivered an insightful speech, paving the way for an eclectic showcase of talents. From the reverberating chants of Kali mantra by Sourav to the melodious rendition of American folk tunes by Pritish, each performance painted a vibrant tapestry of culture and artistry.

Laxmiram's recitation of Rabindranath Tagore's poetry and Soma's captivating dance performance captivated hearts, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among all participants. With each student contributing through song, speech, or dance, the event became a celebration of diversity and talent.

As the clock struck noon, we bid farewell with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the dedication and zeal exhibited by all. For us, the trainers, witnessing the culmination of hard work and the spirit of celebration was truly gratifying, leaving us with a trove of cherished memories to carry forward.

On this day, amidst the trials of a global pandemic, our community stood resilient, embodying the ethos of Don Bosco's vision, and embracing the power of collective strength and determination.
