On February 26th, 2022, amidst the lush mango orchards and natural splendor, the eagerly anticipated field visit for Batch 10 of Don Bosco Tech, Kuntighat, unfolded at Vedam Eco Resort. With 29 enthusiastic students and the guidance of our dedicated trainers, Mr. Atanu Biswas and Mr. Wasim Hassan Mallick, the day promised to be both educational and inspiring.

Nestled in the tranquil embrace of nature, Vedam Eco Resort emerged as a haven for weary souls seeking respite from the urban grind. Spread across acres of verdant land, it beckoned us with its promise of serenity and rejuvenation. As we journeyed from the bustling city of Kolkata, Vedam stood as a testament to sustainable living and harmony with the environment.

Upon arrival at 1:30 pm, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who personally ensured our experience would be enriching. Prioritizing safety, the resort exemplified meticulous sanitization protocols, setting the tone for a seamless exploration of its offerings.

Divided into two slots due to the resort's popularity, our group embarked on a comprehensive tour guided by Mr. Atriyo and our trainers. From the heart of the kitchen to the tranquility of the poolside, every corner of Vedam revealed its commitment to authenticity and organic living. Tribal art adorned the rustic landscape, showcasing Bengal's rich cultural heritage.

The first slot, comprising 15 eager learners, delved into the intricacies of hotel operations with enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the remaining students awaited their turn, eager to absorb the knowledge that awaited them. With each department explored, from the storeroom to the reception, the students' curiosity soared, fueled by the immersive experience.

The second slot mirrored the first, guided by Mr. Atriyo and Mr. Wasim, ensuring every student had the opportunity to witness the inner workings of a premier resort.
