Amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Don Bosco Tech, Kuntighat, adapted and organized a virtual field visit for Batch 2 and 3 on July 31, 2021, at 2 pm. The event, graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Sisir Das, offered an enriching experience to 66 students alongside trainers Mr. Atanu Biswas and Miss Sumana Pal.

Mr. Das, an industry veteran with a wealth of experience in Food & Beverage Service, shared insights from his journey, currently serving as an executive at Hotel Atmos Inn, Tumkur. The virtual tour unfolded, unveiling the splendor of Hotel Atmos Inn, a renowned 4-star establishment nestled in Tumkur, Karnataka.

Located on Tumkur-Kunigal Road, Hotel Atmos Inn boasts an array of specialties, including karaoke nights, LGBTQ-friendly ambiance, live performances, quiz nights, and rooftop seating. It serves as a prime venue for both social gatherings and corporate events, with additional amenities such as airport pick-up and drop-off services and a round-the-clock concierge for guest assistance.

The virtual expedition commenced promptly at 11:30 am, with Mr. Das meticulously guiding the attendees through every facet of the hotel. From the intricacies of its diverse restaurants to glimpses of the helipad, kitchen, corridors, and front office, participants gained firsthand insights into the daily operations of a top-tier establishment.

Furthermore, Mr. Das elucidated on the stringent safety measures implemented to safeguard both guests and staff amid the pandemic, offering a comprehensive understanding of crisis management in the hospitality sector.
