08 May 2021
On the auspicious date of May 8th, 2021, amidst the challenging backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, Don Bosco Tech Kuntighat proudly inaugurated its ITC Batch 1 for the year 2021-22. Despite physical limitations preventing the opening of our institution, our commitment to our students remained unwavering. Leveraging the power of technology, we orchestrated a remarkable online inauguration ceremony via Google Meet, symbolizing resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.
The virtual gathering commenced at 10:30 am, with the reins of the program deftly handled by two of our students, Surodip and Rimon, who skillfully navigated the digital realm to ensure a seamless event. The proceedings commenced with a heartfelt prayer, uniting us in seeking divine blessings for the betterment of our world during these trying times.
As serendipity would have it, our inauguration fell on the eve of the revered poet Rabindranath Tagore's birthday, adding a poignant layer of significance to our proceedings. In a touching tribute, our students paid homage to Tagore through various artistic expressions. Dona delivered an eloquent speech illuminating the poet's life and legacy, while Tiyasa's melodious rendition of one of Tagore's compositions filled the virtual space with soul-stirring melodies. Neha, in her recitation, breathed life into Tagore's timeless verses, captivating hearts with their profound beauty.
The artistic fervor continued to permeate the virtual stage as Surodip mesmerized with a captivating dance performance, followed by Subhasis's engaging theatrical portrayal. Each student contributed their unique talents, with performances ranging from poignant speeches to soulful songs, enriching the digital landscape with their creativity and passion.
As the clock struck noon, the curtains drew to a close on our virtual ceremony, leaving behind a trail of inspiration and camaraderie. The event was not just a celebration of academic milestones but a testament to the indomitable spirit of our students and the unwavering support of our trainers. In the face of adversity, we proved that distance could not dampen our sense of community and shared purpose.
