The field visit to Barfi The Food Magician, an Indian Chinese restaurant near Bandel Church, was a resounding success, providing Batch 9 Year-2021-22 DB Tech, Kuntighat, with invaluable insights into the hospitality industry. Accompanied by Miss Sumana Pal and Mr. Sanjoy Paul, 28 students eagerly explored the restaurant's intricacies on February 19th, 2022, at 2 pm.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the manager, Mr. Saikat Das, who personally ensured our experience commenced promptly. With proper sanitization measures in place, we were ushered into a culinary haven where Bengali delicacies mingled harmoniously with traditional Chinese fare.

Divided into two slots due to the restaurant's bustling ambiance, our first group, led by Mr. Saiket and Miss Sumana, delved into every facet of the establishment. From the bustling kitchen to the serene lobby, students witnessed the meticulous orchestration behind each dish and guest interaction.

Following the enlightening tour, the second group, under the guidance of Mr. Sanjoy and Mr. Saikat, eagerly embarked on their exploration. Repeating the process with equal enthusiasm, they absorbed the nuances of restaurant management and customer service.

Throughout the visit, students were granted permission to capture moments, enriching their experience with tangible memories. Gratitude was extended to Mr. Saikat for his hospitality and willingness to share the inner workings of Barfi The Food Magician.

Departing at approximately 3:00 pm, our spirits soared with newfound knowledge and appreciation for the hospitality industry. The field visit exemplified success, fostering a deeper understanding of hotel operations and inspiring future endeavors.
