The vibrant atmosphere of Don Bosco Tech, Kuntighat, was further enriched on March 18, 2021, by the presence of Miss Purnima Samaddar, Guest Service Executive of Glitzeas Inn, Delhi. As she shared her journey from a trainee steward in Chennai to her current role, she seamlessly engaged our students in English, Hindi, and Bengali, reflecting the diverse linguistic landscape of our nation.

Miss Samaddar eloquently emphasized the virtues of longevity in one's career within the hospitality industry, stressing the importance of punctuality, language proficiency, and dedication to guest service. She illuminated the myriad responsibilities awaiting our students upon entry into the hotel industry, while also shedding light on avenues for professional growth, such as departmental transitions and promotion interviews.

Our students were captivated, gaining invaluable insights into the intricate workings of hotel departments and their interconnectedness. Miss Samaddar's patient responses to their inquiries further fueled their curiosity and enthusiasm.

Following the lecture, Miss Samaddar expressed admiration for our center's endeavors in Kuntighat, commending our commitment to empowering young individuals to become self-sufficient contributors to their families and communities. In bidding farewell, our students extended heartfelt gratitude to Miss Samaddar for her invaluable guidance and generosity with her time.
