Don Bosco Tech, Kuntighat, embraced the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic by fostering a virtual platform for the Parent-Teacher Meet of Batch 4, ITC East, in the academic year 2021-22. On August 24, 2021, at 11 o'clock in the morning, parents of 35 students, hailing from various locales within and beyond Hooghly district, gathered online to engage in an enriching dialogue about their children's educational journey.

Despite the physical distance imposed by the pandemic, the virtual setting facilitated a deep sense of connection and understanding between the educators and the parents. Through platforms like Google Meet, the institution bridged the gap, ensuring that parents could actively participate in their children's educational progress.

The event commenced with a warm welcome, setting the tone for a productive exchange of insights and concerns. Parents eagerly delved into discussions about their children's academic performance, future prospects, and security. Their keen interest and thoughtful inquiries underscored their unwavering commitment to their children's well-being and success.

A significant aspect of the meeting was the comprehensive review of each student's strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Educators provided valuable insights into the students' performance in both summative and formative assessments, fostering a holistic understanding of their progress.

The interactive session not only addressed academic concerns but also fostered a sense of community and partnership between the institution and the parents. Through open dialogue and mutual support, both parties collaborated to nurture the growth and development of the students.

As the meeting drew to a close at 12 am, a sense of contentment permeated the virtual space. Parents departed with a renewed sense of assurance, reassured by the bright prospects awaiting their sons and daughters. This event served as a testament to the resilience and adaptability of the Don Bosco Tech community in navigating challenging circumstances and fostering meaningful connections.
