Amidst the echoing sentiments of patriotism and the vibrant hues of the Indian tricolor, Don Bosco Tech Kuntighat marked the 72nd Republic Day on January 26, 2022, with fervor and enthusiasm. This significant occasion commemorates the dawn of India's constitutional journey, signifying the culmination of a relentless struggle against colonial rule and the inception of a sovereign, democratic republic on January 26, 1950.

The spirit of unity amidst diversity, intrinsic to the fabric of Indian society, was beautifully showcased in the celebrations at our center. Students, representing the rich tapestry of cultures and backgrounds, came together to adorn a classroom, transforming it into a kaleidoscope of patriotic fervor with tri-color balloons and decorations.

The event unfolded with a captivating array of performances, each resonating with the essence of nationalism and pride. Abhinav eloquently recited a patriotic poem, stirring hearts with his words. Rekha and Rajashree enthralled the audience with their soul-stirring rendition of the iconic song "Ae Watan," evoking a sense of belonging and love for the motherland. The stage came alive with vibrant dance performances by Goutam and Trina, who mesmerized everyone with their graceful movements to melodies like "Hum India Wale" and "Vande Mataram." 

The highlight of the program was a collective rendition of "Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo," symbolizing the unity and resilience of the Indian spirit. A short drama portrayed the rich diversity of India, celebrating its mosaic of cultures, languages, and traditions.

Amidst the festivities, the solemnity of the occasion was not forgotten. The values enshrined in the Constitution of India, guiding principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, were revered and honored. As the program drew to a close, students and trainers came together in harmony, echoing the strains of the National Anthem, a poignant tribute to the nation and its stalwart heroes.

The Republic Day celebrations at Don Bosco Tech Kuntighat were not merely a commemoration but a testament to the enduring spirit of India, where unity, diversity, and patriotism converge to forge a bright future for generations to come.
