The most important part of a student’s journey is the “Parents–Teachers Meeting”. A parent-teacher conference helps to explain to parents the sector their children are indulging in and to give them specific ideas on how to improve upon their child’s performance. This meeting is used to deliver our goals, mission and vision to respected parents so that they can bestow their blessings and gradual encouragement towards their children, keeping in mind to increase the bond between a teacher and a parent.
An online parents-teachers meeting was organised on 29th October 2020 via Google Meet for the candidates of ITC East, Year 8, 2020-21, Batch 3 & 4, in which all the Trainers – Mr GoutamMaitra (Center Co-ordinator and F&B Service Trainer), Mr Tarun Kumar Borgi (Multi Cuisine Cook), Ms Estrela Osta (Communicative English & ITES Trainer) and 55 guardians were present.
The meeting started by welcoming all the parents by the Trainers. All the Trainers addressed the parents and explained to them about placement and the importance of sending away the students for the job. They insisted the students be faithful and sincere in their life and to use the given opportunity in the best possible manner in order to get a bright future. They urged parents to take interest in their child’s life and support them as it’s a huge leap towards their career. After listening to the Trainers, most of the parents felt motivated and started asking questions related to the course and their child’s work. The Trainers also felt happy to answer the parent’s questions and clear their doubts and confusions, making the meeting a successful one.
Finally, the meeting was concluded by Ms Estrela Osta as she expressed words of gratitude to the parents and the trainees for attending this meeting.
