Don Bosco Tech Nitika proudly hosted the Online Batch Inaugural Program for Batch 1 & 2 of ITC-East, Year 9, 2021-22, on June 12, 2021, via Google Meet. Attended by esteemed individuals including Mr. Augustin Tesra (State MIS Head and Centre Coordinator), Mr. Goutam Maitra (Centre Coordinator and F&B Service Trainer), Mr. Tarun Kumar Borgi (Multi Cuisine Cook Trainer), Ms. Estrela Osta (Communicative English & ITES Trainer), and all 56 trainees, the event commenced at 10:00 AM.

The program began with a heartfelt invocation, setting the tone for a cultural showcase that included solo classical dance, song renditions, a motivational short story, and a poignant poem reflecting on the impact of Covid-19, presented by the talented trainees of ITC East 2021-22.

Following the cultural segment, Mr. Goutam, the Center Coordinator, provided a comprehensive overview of the ITC project, emphasizing its significance in facilitating placement and ensuring the retention of candidates. He elucidated the purpose behind convening this gathering, underscoring the institution's commitment to empowering its students.

Subsequently, Mr. Goutam and Mr. Tarun, the Service and Cookery Trainers respectively, shed light on the nuances of the hospitality industry and the abundant job opportunities it offers. Their impassioned discourse highlighted the allure of this profession, promising a pathway to a promising future enriched with exposure and growth opportunities.

Ms. Estrela Osta eloquently addressed the audience, focusing on career advancements and the potential for further placements within India. She shared inspiring anecdotes of former students' achievements, instilling confidence in both the trainees and their parents.
