On August 11th, 2021, Don Bosco Nitika hosted a transformative guest lecture featuring Mr. Surajit Parua, an esteemed Chef de Partie from Ubuntu - Vegan Café. Addressing the eager minds of ITC East's Year 9, 2021-22, Batch 3 & 4 students, Mr. Parua shared his wealth of experience and wisdom garnered from years in the dynamic hospitality industry. A total of 66 enthusiastic candidates seized the opportunity to glean insights from his journey.
Drawing from his extensive tenure in various restaurants, Mr. Parua emphasized the pivotal role of hard work in achieving success. He underscored the indispensability of comprehensive knowledge and encouraged students to embrace cross-departmental learning, recognizing it as a pathway to coveted positions within the industry.
