The field visit to Barbeque Nation at ITC East for Batch 7, 8, and 9 candidates from Don Bosco Tech was an incredibly enriching experience that provided valuable insights into the workings of a renowned restaurant. Divided into two halves, with Batch 7 focusing on F&B Service and Batches 8 & 9 on MCC, the visit on 22nd November 2022 was attended by a total of 102 students.

Barbeque Nation, known for its Indian cuisine, hosted an interactive session led by Mr. Jayanta Saha, the HR representative. Through demonstrations by the current manager at the Park Street Branch, students gained practical knowledge about table setup, kitchen operations, room service procedures, and the overall ambiance of a large restaurant. This firsthand experience not only increased their confidence but also deepened their understanding of restaurant management.

The executives at Barbeque Nation acknowledged and appreciated the skilling program offered by Don Bosco Tech, supported by ITC. They highlighted the success stories of former DB Tech students who have become integral members of the Barbeque Nation family, showcasing the effectiveness of the training program in producing skilled professionals.
