On August 12, 2021, amidst the anticipation of India's 75th Independence Day, a momentous occasion unfolded at the premises of Don Bosco Tech (Nitika) with the Batch Inaugural Program for the students of ITC-East 2021-22, Year 9, Batch 3 & 4. The theme resonated with the forthcoming Independence Day celebrations, infusing the gathering with patriotic fervor and a sense of unity.

The event commenced at noon with a solemn invocation, marking the beginning of festivities that would blend education with celebration. Among the esteemed guests were Fr. Robin Gomes, the Rector and Center in Charge of Don Bosco Nitika, Sudipta Malakar, the West Bengal Finance Coordinator, Koushik Roy, the ITC Project Coordinator, and Goutam Maitra, the Center Coordinator and Food & Beverage Service Trainer, along with other dignitaries. The presence of all 66 candidates alongside their proud parents added to the significance of the occasion.
