The trainees of ITC East 2019-2020, Year 7 – Batch Number 9 & 10 had organized a short program on Saint Don Bosco’s Feast on the 31st January 2020. Fr. Robin Gomes (The Center-in-charge & Rector of Don Bosco Nitika) along with Koushik Sarkar (ITC East Project Coordinator), the Trainers – Goutam Maitra (Centre Coordinator and F&B Trainer), Tarun Kr. Borgi (Multi Cuisine Trainer), Estrela Osta (Communicative English & ITES Trainer) and 95 trainees were present at this celebration.

The program started at 2.00 pm. It was a short celebration that started with the invoking of God’s blessing with a prayer song on Saint Don Bosco and a few words of wisdom given by Father Robin Gomes. Then there was a speech given by one of the trainees – this speech was based on Saint Don Bosco’s life which helped us to understand his importance and contribution to the Salesian Society. He was one of the marvels of the 19th Century and is remembered as a man who dedicated his life to the service of abandoned and marginalized young people. The program was further followed by several other performances like classical dance and a group song. After the performances, Father Robin Gomes thanked the candidates for putting up a lovely program in a short while.
