On February 28, 2020, ITC East welcomed Mr. Biddyut Halder, a distinguished HR representative and Consultant Chef from Jobbaaz (Recruitment Solutions), to impart invaluable wisdom to Batch 9 & 10 of the 2019-20 cohort. With 87 eager candidates in attendance, the session promised to be enlightening.

Mr. Halder commenced by painting a vivid picture of the evolving landscape of the hospitality industry, emphasizing the pivotal role of effective communication in hotel management. Highlighting the significance of well-trained and adept individuals, he underscored the importance of fostering a culture of fluent English communication among staff, crucial for seamless guest interactions and operational efficiency.

Moreover, Mr. Halder elucidated the myriad career opportunities within the hospitality sector, citing roles ranging from hotel and restaurant management to catering and food service direction.
