We are glad that on 25th June 2021, Mr PritamOraw, HOD of the Bakery Department from Golden Tulip Hotel, Salt Lake, Sector 1, was present for the online class (via the Google Meet app) to share his vast knowledge and experience with the young candidates of ITC East, Year 9, 2021-22, Batch 2. The candidates became more excited about this guest lecture when they heard that Mr PritamOraw was also an ex-candidate of Don Bosco Tech Nitika. 26 candidates attended this inspiring guest lecture.

Mr PritamOraw started the session by introducing himself and by sharing his own story of hardships to inspire and encourage the students – this helped them to know be aware of the various challenges that they may face and how they need to be prepared. He even gave the minute details of the hotel industry. He stated that comprehensive knowledge will enable them to achieve prestigious posts in the hotel. Hard work coupled with competency and knowledge with skill is the basic requirements to prosper our career in the hospitality sector.  His ambition drove him ahead in his life. He encouraged the trainees to have an ambition – a reason to live their life. He further emphasized that one should work for at least 1 year in any department to gain adequate knowledge of the industry because time helps us to gain spontaneous knowledge automatically. After an hour of lecture, the trainees got an opportunity to clear their doubts and after getting their respective answers the candidate’s confusions vanished and they got a clear picture about the hotel industry.

Mr PritamOraw concluded by wishing all the trainees for their bright future. The candidates thanked Mr PritamOraw and the Trainers for organizing such an inspiring guest lecture.
