Trainees at Don Bosco Nitika were offered a guest lecturer and placement by efficient authorities of BBQ Nation on 13th January 2020. BBQ Nation, the name itself is enough to ensure the quality it’s going to provide. Many years in line, BBQ Nation has provided maximum benefit with a justified work schedule to its employees. It was a beautiful opportunity for all the students of ITC East 2019-20, Batch 7 & 8, to be recruited by these famous restaurant authorities. It’s always our duty to organize campus interviews in two months to increase the employment options for our trained students.

Mr Bittu Patra (Human Resource – East Regional Manager) accompanied by an Assistant HR were the executive authorities of BBQ Nation who visited the centre and conducted the sessions and spoke about the necessary placement details that were informative and conducive for the development of the trainees. They focused precisely on how to become a good employee in the hotel industry and briefly discussed the qualities of exceptional employees, workplace protocol, etc. He added that staff should have a voluntary mind towards his works, then only he can handle and enjoy his job well. Mr Bittu, East Regional Manager talked about the prosperity of employees working with BBQ Nation in its different outlets. He further stated about the forthcoming opportunities of the staff for fresher and experienced. Consequently, he shared his personal experience in the hotel industry, the hardships and prosperity that followed due to his efficiency and hard work. He also explained well about the working conditions, timing, and pay scale. As it is the first blooming industry they were ready to take maximum candidates and offered 8500 to 9000 per month with food and accommodation (for the first two months). They promised that there will be a salary, P.F and ESI from the very first month of their joining. Candidates were happy to hear about the company details from them. Immediately after the session, 30 students were interviewed and 19 candidates were selected. Students would be placed in different outlets all over India. Based on the good performances of the previously selected candidates in the past few months, they assured further assistance of the forthcoming batches as well. At the end of the scheduled program, the Hotel authorities requested the selected trainees to join as early as possible. Newly selected students thanked the trainers of Don Bosco Nitika for their ardent support and wholehearted cooperation. The arranged sessions and interviews ended happily and enthusiastically with a fruitful result.
